She is the author of three best-selling books (Faith in the Spotlight, and the kids’ books One More Hug and The Magic of a Small Town Christmas) in addition to her new Loyola Press book The True Gifts of Christmas. She produced and hosted the holiday travel show Small Town Christmas which aired on UPTV. Eileen C. Burke-Sullivan joined Creighton University as a full-time faculty member in the Theology Department in 2003. During her tenure, she served as the Director of the Master of Arts in Ministry Program and the Director of the Christian Spirituality Programs. She was also the inaugural chairholder of the Barbara Reardon Heaney Chair in Pastoral Liturgical Theology and the Vice President of the Division of Mission and Ministry for Creighton University. Eileen is now an Emerita Professor of Theology and Emerita Vice President for Mission and Ministry, having retired on September 30, 2022. Her extensive career in theology and ministry has left a lasting impact on the institution and its students, fostering a deep appreciation for Ignatian spirituality and Christian formation.
