CHICAGO, January 10, 2023— In his new book Seeing with the Heart: A Guide to Navigating Life’s Adventures, best-selling author Kevin O’Brien, SJ, invites readers to recognize that, regardless of what life throws at them, they can find their life’s meaning and purpose.
Seeing with the Heart is the follow-up to O’Brien’s best-seller The Ignatian Adventure, and continues to build on the principles of Ignatian spirituality.
Whether or not a reader is familiar with Ignatian spirituality, the main themes of Seeing with the Heart will resonate. In fact, O’Brien believes that his latest book will appeal to readers regardless of any spiritual affiliation or particular religious beliefs.

In each chapter O’Brien includes reflection questions that are exercises designed to help put the ideas into practice in daily life. Readers can return to Seeing with the Heart again and again, reviewing and repeating the exercises O'Brien offers, monitoring for progress toward peace and fulfillment.

Kevin O’Brien, SJ, is a former lawyer who became a Jesuit nearly 25 years ago. He regularly conducts spiritual retreats for the young and old alike. An experienced high school teacher and college professor, he is the author of The Ignatian Adventure.
